Perfect Naughty Children

Nope, I don't have perfect children either, darn it!

So, it's 7:45pm and 4 of the 5 children are down. Tonight, Austin was sent to bed earlier than the rest due to his bad behavior. Unfortunately, his bad choices will result in a bus ticket tomorrow, per the phone call that I received this evening from his bus driver. Grrrr!! Apparently, his umbrella doubled as a poker today and he proceeded to poke other children on the bus with it. So, he has earned his first bus ticket, ever. (sigh)

Needless to say, I took care of the issue and he went to bed early as punishment. Sometimes it sucks being a responsible parent who has to punish their child.

Tonight, I plan to clean up a bit, rest, maybe plant some starter plants, and rest some more. My back is hurting again. I'm not sure if my previous back injuries are flaring up or if I pulled a muscle. Top that off with a very stiff, swollen and quite sore ankle and I'm one cranky momma. Maybe it's better that the kids went down early tonight. Hmmmm
