A joyful day.

Today, my precious lil baby turns 16 months old! WOW!! Here is a photo of him tonight after he had gone to bed.

Even though I wasn't feeling well at all, I still made time this afternoon to have some one on one time with lil Jonathon. Today we played peek-a-boo. We played hotwheel cars. We laughed and giggled. And we enjoyed being together! Jonathon still is not walking. He will take a few steps at a time (no more than five to date) before he drops his bottom to the floor and takes off speed crawling. He's such a cutie!! One thing is for certain, he is a Daddy's Boy. If he sees daddy walk by, he'll let out a howl to remind Daddy that he better pay attention!

Tonight I also cleaned out Jonathon's bedroom. I had boxes and bags of baby items from him. Obviously, there is no need to keep it around and I wanted to get it out of here before I had the surgery. While I am content with my family, I also hear that it's not uncommon to become a bit weepy post hyst. The last thing I need is to be staring at boxes and boxes of newborn clothes. No Thank You. I have a woman who is expecting a little boy who is coming by tomorrow to possibly purchase some of what I have. So much of it is in great condition that I hate to just give it away. However, I have absolutely no need for it now. We'll see what happens I guess.

Emilee was quite silly tonight. She came out dressed like this:

She was suppose to be getting ready for bed but instead ended up getting costumes out of the dress up box. Silly silly girl!! I couldn't take a full body photo of her as she decided to just wear the top of the costume (and her undies, of course). She's certainly a joy to be around!!

For those of you who are heading out for the Labor Day celebrations and/or trips, please be careful. I hope you have a safe and enjoyable time. We have opted to stay home and camp out in the back yard. We'll gather around the firepit and just enjoy the company of those around us. If you're interested in coming out, please do.

Until next time...
