A little dent in the list...

I'm tired, I'm painful, I'm overwhelmed...but I keep moving forward! No matter what, I must move forward, right?

Today, the "Water Master" never showed up at noon as he said. It's okay, for now. We have running water and I'm sure he'll return. He probably just got tied up with another job. Besides, he's family...he won't forget there is work still left to do. (crossing fingers).

I need to call the insurance company about the damage on the truck (blah). Perhaps once I'm finished with this posting, I'll do that.

I mowed most of the lawn today with the little stinkers on the cart their daddy built for them. He's such a handy person but man-o-live is he a pack rat. Currently, he's outside trying to "straighten" up his "collections" so that I'll quit complaining about it looking so "junky" behind our fence. He reminds me that what is behind the fence is HIS and what's in front of it is MINE. Unfortunately, he had his "stuff" in both places, which prompted a firm reminder from me that his "stuff" was in my space! Bonus points for him today though...he did all the trimming with the weed eater. That's a HUGE feat where we are.

I've made more "lists" for my surgery and recovery. I want to be so prepared! Do you think there is such a thing as being over prepared?

Some of my flowers are coming up that I planted from seed. That makes me happy to see. I added one flower bed on the south side of the barn and will be adding another along the West side. I'm hoping to transplant some day lillies as we have a HUGE area of them in front of the house. More than likely, they won't flower this year after transplanted but that's okay. I don't mind. I want to do it now, while I feel "okay" rather than later when I can't.

So, a few more things are off my "to do" list prior to surgery and it sure feels good. Three weeks from tomorrow...time is ticking away.

I'm heading back out to get started on my flower gardens. I'll post photos of the kids on their lawn cart later this evening!

Until next time...
