The kids returned to school after their week off for spring break (Thank-You-Lord)! I love my children but it was a long, difficult week here for me. I had a boat load of papers, homework, quizzes and a few Exams to deal with and no "alone time" do focus on any of it. My head was spinning! So after our "normal week", we are gearing up for Tim's week home. Yep, he's laid off this coming week (April 16). After tonight, he's off until April 23rd.
Speaking of my head, I have had this headache for the past six days straight. It starts in the morning as a mild headache. By noon-2pm, it progresses into a mind blowing migraine. You know, one where you can't stand to have light, sound, screaming children included, around you. It pounds with each beat of your heart. You fear bending over to help a youngster tie their shoes for fear of your head exploding, literally. The pain becomes incredible. And unfortunately, it occurs every afternoon when Tim must leave for work. What is up with that? I've tried various methods of treatments (all except calling the doctor for help). I've done the hot showers, submerging my head in a tub full of hot water and letting it soak, hot packs surrounding my head and covering my eyes, 800mg motrin, tylenol, relpax (migraine med), sinus headache meds (thinking it was sinus problems), caffiene (since I am a caffiene drinker normally and stopping cold-turkey results in migraines for me too), and various other "home remedies". Did you know that sex is suppose to ..... Oh, nevermind. Maybe that was just a home remedy my husband made up! (smile)
So, since I'm currently dealing with the migraine monster, feeling like a pre-med student, in the process of changing colleges, and dealing with all of the other day-to-day activities...my blogging may be a little slow. Bear with me, won't you?
With that said....it's now just after 2am and I am still up studying (well, I'm on break at the moment) for a Microbiology Exam that I have in a few hours. So, I suppose I should go finish that up and hit the pillow for a couple hours of toss-and-turn....or more commonly known as sleep (for those of you that are able to).
G'Night!
