Another day down...a few more to go.

So tell me...do your tags look like this or is it just this way in my house? I really feel like saying:



All I can say is

Last night, or shall I say this morning, I finally crawled in bed about 4:00am. I was up doing laundry, scrubbing the master bathroom down, and reading. I woke up at 6:30am to get the kids off to school. I did try to fall back asleep but it didn't happen.

Today was a good day. It was beautiful weather, perfect temperature. I was able to get a ton of things done, which is a huge help. I weeded a few different flower beds. Granted, they'll need to be done again eventually but for now, it gives me satisfaction knowing that I accomplished something today.

Tomorrow is a new day. Please keep my friend in your thoughts as she has her hysterectomy tomorrow. Speaking of...I am now approximately 5d 12 + hours until I need to be at the hospital. I'm doing okay right now. I'm, of course, nervous. I'm trying to wrap up a few more things here before I start getting the kids' bags packed for their little "vacation from momma." I just hope they behave for their Aunts. I'd hate to have someone watch my kids only to find out they were being monsters. That'd make me feel awful!

I have all the kids into bed (at 8:30pm). They played hard today so they are sleepy anyways. I'm still washing laundry. Yes, I know...it's a never ending task. Especially when you have a family of seven. It's times like this that I wish we lived in a nudist colony. Of course, I'm not so sure others would agree (evil grin).

The rest of this week and this weekend are filled with a ton of things. We have an open house to attend. We have yard work to finish. We have family to visit. Bags must be packed. Laundry must be 100% caught up. The kids have a birthday party to go to. And of course, we have personal business to attend to.

So, I'm going to finish reading, fold some more laundry, and maybe...just maybe...I'll have myself a bubble bath.

Oh, one last request. If you happen to have any DVD's that you'd be willing to let me use for the first week or so of my recovery, would you let me know? We are not stocked with many DVDs and I thought that it would be a good way to pass the time away as I won't have the kids to keep me busy. I promise, you will get them back in the same condition!! I'd greatly appreciate it.
