Today, Tim and I went out to lunch with the younger kids. As Tim went up to the salad bar, I sat with the kids. I could see something out of the corner of my eye but didn't give it a whole lot of attention. When I finally did come out of my Disney World induced Day dream, I saw that Jonathon had decided to take the salt shaker and sprinkle quite a bit in front of him on the table. I wanted to leave it and show Tim just what his
Speaking of taking the kids to dinner... It is something we do more often than most. They have been to all types of places, Wed Womster, Applebees, Country Buffet, Train Place, etc. Recently, we took the family to OCB (Old Country Buffet). The kids love it there and it works out well for our family on many levels. We have a routine there. Jacob & Austin both go up to get their drinks and then get a drink for their sisters. Jacob sometimes will bring a drink back for Mom, Dad and Jonathon (big helper). While that's going on, I'm up with the girls making their plates. I seat them and return to make a plate for myself and one for Jonathon. While I'm gone, Tim sits with the kids and keeps things in order. When I returned he said:
T: Did you see those people that were sitting over there? (nods)
B: Yeah, why?
T: On their way out, the woman came up to me and said, "How much does it cost to feel your family?"
B: What? That's pretty bold. I think that's quite rude, if you ask me. What business is it of hers how much it cost to feed our children?
T: Well, I told her it was cheaper to eat here than fast food.
This still bothers me. Now, if she were paying for our meal, then fine. But to go up to a perfect stranger and inquire how much it cost for us to eat there because
What do you think? Would you be that bold? I just think it's rude. Perhaps he should have said something along the lines of, "Why do you ask? Did you plan on paying for our meal today?" Maybe that would have shut her right up! Grrrr!!
Last but not least, Jonathon's new phrase is "Don't know" and it's so darn adorable!
I'll check in a bit later with another update on the young lady mentioned in previous posts! The word I received earlier was that her eyes had opened. Good News! Keep Praying, please.

Yes. Rude. I would have said, (I know, hindsight is 20/20 and I had time to think about it!)
"It don't think it really matters how much it costs to feed them, all of the love we have is enough to feed all of our hearts for a very long time."
Rude-y McRuderton!
That lady was rude although yuppies like Chad and I always gawk at large families like, "how do they do it, wow" in a good way. Also, I got wed womster but what is the train place? Your kids are funny. Now I know that Jonathon likes salt as much as I do. Maybe he has PMS too! hehehe!
Amy,
It was the Depot, in town :)
And perhaps he does have PMS. He sure has an attitude right now! ARGH! Here we come terrible twos!
