With a heavy heart, I thank you for your prayers for our little friend, Ethan. Unfortunately, Ethan lost his fight. He went peacefully from his parents arms to that of his Maker. Please continue to pray for his grieving family. Thank you.

Another tragic loss

Please pray for another local family who tragically lost their 10 year old Son Saturday afternoon. Also please pray for my husband as well as the others who responded to this tragic scene. It really hits home for many of us as this child was in the same class and age as my son. My heart breaks for all who loved and cared for him and those who knew him.

But why?

Sometimes, things happen in life that make you take a step back and be thankful for everything you have. We are young with so much life left to live. We have such a bright future ahead of us with many memories left to make. At 32, I can't imagine knowing that my life would be over.

Sometimes, things just become too much to bear for some people. Unfortunately, some just reach their breaking point and decide that today is the day to take away all of the issues that have them in such an unbearable state. Sadly, this has happened to a fellow classmate.

Please send your thoughts and prayers up for this family as they deal with the tragic loss of a mother, daughter, and friend. Pray for peace and comfort for those that she left behind, including a young daughter of her own. And even though we all have different views on the after-life, pray that she is now at peace.

This poem is for all of those who knew and loved her.

A Better Place

She’s in a better place right now
Than she’s ever been before;
All pain is gone; she’s now at rest;
Nothing troubles her anymore.

It’s we who feel the burden of
Our sadness and our grief;.
We have to cry, to mourn our loss,
Before we get relief.

We know we’ll reconnect with her
At the end of each life’s road;
We’ll see her cherished face again
When we release our earthly load.
