New Book

I consider myself quite spiritual. I know not everyone has the same views when it comes to religions and spirituality, so if you feel this post could rub you the wrong way, feel free to skip it.

Having said that, I have started reading another new book. The content inside these two covers has touched so many places in my life. It's one of those books that you start, thinking you'll read a chapter or two, and find that you just can't put the thing down.

I have gone through each chapter and highlighted points that have touched me, are linked to my life in some way or another, and have typed them up. If you'd like to read a few (maybe you don't have time to read the whole book), I'll pass them along to you in an email. Just drop me an email and let me know. I know I've definately learned from this book already.

How to find Spirituality Throughout All the Relationships in Your Life
Spiritual Connections
by Sylvia Browne

The book is broken down into different chapters which focus on the various relationships we all form--from family, friends, and lovers to enemies, co-workers, schoolmates, and more. I have been able to see how my life has been shaped by each person I have encountered. I've taken parts of it and applied it to my everyday life as well. This book has helped explain why heartache is endured as well as how it helps us. I highly recommend reading this book.

Here is the content from inside the book jacket:

Have you ever wondered why some relationships are wonderful and others are just catastropic and tragic? Why do we get along with some people and continually engage in bitter fighting with others? In this fascinating and helpful book, internationally renowned psychic Sylvia Browne examines why we form connections with certain individuals...for better or worse. From the lifelong comfort of a loving marriage to the agony of a brief encounter that ends in heartbreak, she reveals why we have joyful and happy relationships on the one hand and chaotic and painful ones on the other. (and it continues on...)

This was from the back cover:

"You meet countless people in a lifetime (or many lifetimes), and this book will explain how each one has an effect on your life. You see, when you wrote your chart before you came into this life, you documented every detail about every encounter...no matter how fleeting, aggravating, or toxic it may have seemed. So in this book, I'll take you through each relationship---from family, friends, and lovers to enemies, co-workers, schoolmates, and even God--that creates a ladder to your evolvement. I assure you that you'll never look at other people (and life) in the same way again.

Yes, there are those who will try your patience, but the lessons they give you actually light your way, making it easier for you to get through this lifetime and to the Other Side. Each individual you encounter is like a stepping-stone...it's how you handle him or her that determines your advancement. I've even said at lectures that people make us sick or they can make us well...but we always learn something. -Sylvia"
