Another productive day...

Today was our first visit to the new house. We took two trailer loads of firewood for the winter. The current tentant was moving out today but said she was going to come back and clean and wouldn't be finished until the 30th. So, I suppose that means we won't be able to get in until the 1st. I was really hoping to get in there this weekend since next weekend is a holiday and most of our help have plans. *sigh*

I packed another box from the kitchen and am just about ready to box up a few more boxes of the kids' laundry. I'm sending the kids to bed in about 20 minutes. It seems that everytime I try to pack something up, I turn around to find something else in my way or something that has been unpacked. It is so frusterating.

I've given up on the marathon packing idea. I figure if it's important, it will make it there in one of the first few loads. If it's not, we'll know where it's at. We still have time.

Tim has two more nights of work before he's off for a week. We're both pretty anxious for him to be off. It will make it a little easier to do the packing if there are two of us.

I may check in later. For now, I'm off to tuck the kiddo's into bed with the hope that they will fall fast asleep!

Until later,
-B

I don't know what day you plan on moving for sure but I have ZERO plans for the 4th/5th/6th...so just let me know. I can bring Dan's truck

Isn't this "packing thing" a wonderful way for you to really embrace this "fresh start" thing?

Oh, to be able to leave all the clutter and non essential things from your past and move forward with the essentials for operating a healthy home.

I'm not saying you are hoarding...but when we hoard because of emotional fear, we prevent room for good things to find us.

Why not think about the things that you "want" in your new kitchen and go around your kitchen and pack only those things? Same for other rooms.

Don't view the things that you leave out as waste but rather as not moving the negative energy to your new home. Everything not packed to go to your new home could be sold or disposed of.

Just a suggestion made with care for your direction :)
