Stalling...

Can you tell? Since I'm here, I must not be doing much packing, right?

We went to the house today. While there, the tentant was there packing the rest of her things. She was trying to reach the owner to see if she could just turn the keys over to us today. She's completely finished and the home is now vacant.

While there, I caught myself daydreaming a few times. Watching the kids play in the yard, watching Tim out in the back, mowing. I walked around the flower gardens, envisioning what my flowers would look like there. I stood on the deck and just thought to myself what a wonderful place we were going to. I am so thankful.

I was able to get into the house before she locked it up and measure the livingroom, dining room and girls' bedrooms. She had asked if the kids had to use the restroom before she left. That was very thoughtful of her. It was the first time the kids were able to see the inside of their new home. They ran from room to room, exclaiming which room each person would have. I even got a peek into the bathroom this time! When Tim and I went through it originally, neither of us looked into the bathroom. We glanced in, saw a toilet and kept moving. Now, I can say, it has a bathtub!

The home is very clean. The current tentant seemed to be a good housekeeper. For that, I'm thankful. It appears that she cleaned the carpets about two weeks ago. Even so, I'm anxious to get inside and clean/scrub/mop before we move our things in. Maybe tomorrow we will be able to do that. We'll see.

I've tried calling the landlord today to see how I'm suppose to do the utilities. I know there was power there today but for now long, I'm unsure. When I tried calling the electric company, they were not showing any such address. ACK!

Enough stalling. I must go pack up some boxes now. I hope you're all having a great day!

Until later,
B

I saw the pics and it's a beautiful home. I think once you're all settled in you'll feel right at home and the kids will love it =)
