To my precious Niece, Miss Paige.

Dear Paige,

How can it be possible that you are old enough to venture off and begin school tomorrow? It seems like yesterday that I received the call from your Daddy that you would be born soon. I was so anxious and couldn't sleep until I heard that you had arrived and were safe in the arms of your Mommy and Daddy.

Sweet Princess, you are a very special little girl with so many people who will always love and protect you. Tomorrow, you will head off to school, hand in hand with your Mommy. It is the beginning of a whole new journey filled with many happy memories. I am so excited to be able to watch as you begin this new chapter in your life.

I'm sure Mommy and Daddy will be a little sad tomorrow as they watch their beautiful, bright eyed, curly-blond haired baby take those first few steps to becoming the intelligent young lady you will soon become. It's okay to be a little sad, even for Mommy and Daddy (and Aunt Becky). Just know that while you are off at school learning, exploring and making new friends, they will be thinking of you all day long. Once you get home, you will be able to share so many stories with them. I bet that makes them very excited.

There's just one more thing, Miss Paige. Could you promise Aunt Becky that if Miss Emilee is ever sad, you will give her a great big hug and remind her that her Mommy and Daddy love her very much? I promise that if your Mommy or Daddy ever get sad when you are off playing at school, I will remind them how much their beautiful little girl loves them too!

I love you Sweetheart. You have a great first day of school, okay?

All my love,
Aunt Becky

How adorable. Paige says that she likes her picture on here. She also says she will miss you, and if she gets sad at school or if Emilee gets sad then she will call either you or I. She is being absolutely goofy. I think she is very nerves but excited.

Give her snuggles as she rests her pretty head tonight. Let her know that we will be waiting for her after school to hear all about her first day!

Don't forget the tissues tomorrow Momma. She's on her way to becoming such a big girl now. Remember to journal your experience as well as hers. You'll fondly look back on it in the years to come.
