Special Requests

My summer is quickly winding down to an end. I can't believe we are approaching the end of August already! It seems that this month just began. I will return to school on Thursday and the children about a week and a half later.

A few prayer requests going out for tomorrow. First, please say a special prayer for my cousin who is having surgery tomorrow. Pray for a successful outcome with minimal pain. And secondly, please pray for a special friend of mine who is going in tomorrow to attempt a VBAC (vaginal birth after a c-section). Please pray for a successful vbac as well as the health and safety of Momma and Baby Girl. I know they all would appreciate the thoughts & prayers.

Speaking of prayers...one last prayer request. Please pray for my own peace of mind. I'm juggling a million thoughts in my head and I need a clearer vision. I know the answers are out there, I just need to find them. I feel as though my life is in a "rut" that I can't get out of. I'm not even sure I can accurately explain how or even what I am feeling. So for now, I won't even try.

There really isn't anything else that is happening around here. We're hoping to get some school shopping done this week for the kids. We will see if I'm able to accomplish that or not.

I don't know about each one of you but we have been under rainy conditions for a couple days now. The kids are getting quite antsy to be outdoors under the warm sunshine again. And how about all of those M.I.S. fans who are waiting still to use their race tickets! I was told tomorrow at 10am, weather pending. :)

Before I go, let me just send out a quick "I can't believe it" to my precious little girl, Katelyn. Miss Kate, I can't believe that in just a few more days you will be celebrating your sixth birthday. Where did the time go?
