- Surfed the Internet a while
- Made & Printed the chore lists and schedules
- Hung our 4ft dry erase marker board
- Wrote the days schedule & chores on the board
- Washed, folded & put away 4 loads of laundry
- Tore table down to seat four instead of six
- Washed and put away dishes in addition to the dishwasher
- Emptied litter box
- Scrubbed kitchen counters
- Scrubbed stove
- Scrubbed main bath sink & counter
- Gave a courtesy flush (are my kids the only ones who forget to flush?)
- Swept wood floors (entire house except bedrooms)
- Mopped wood floors
- Swiffered under the furniture
- Took a shower
- Finally fell into bed at 5:30 am only to get back up at 9:30am.
This morning, I've:
- Managed to throw on a pair of mismatched PJ's
- Fixed scrambled eggs & toast for kids
- Set out the days cups for the kids (all of a different color)
- Washed and folded two loads of laundry
- Played the referee to bickering children
- Managed to get clothes on "short man"
- Cleaned up two explosive kitty litter incidents. (Seems one of them has an upset tummy and can't make it all into the litter box)
And now, I'm ready for a nap!
What do you do when you're unable to sleep?

You are certainly not the only one with kids who can't remember to flush. That cracked me up. Our four-year-old has to be reminded every time she comes out of the bathroom.
"Oh, sorry Daddy. I'll be right back..."
I feel for you. Seems like these days nothing is in its place unless everything is out of place. I have had one of those summers. seems like every time I set out to do something it is put on the back burner for something else. Someday I promise we will all get it to gether and get everything in order with out the mayham (it may not be till the last one graduates, but it will happen) chin up love ya
