Shortly after school began, one of my kids was trying to describe one of their fellow classmates to me. Imagine trying to keep a straight face when they say, "the one with the polka-dots all over their face." I tried not to giggle, I really did. And I certainly didn't let my child see that I was
failing silently giggling. I mean, we teach our children not to call names, tease, or be unkind and here I am, an adult, giggling over some poor childs polka-dotted-face.
If I had only known....
Jacob has the chicken pox!
And now you know the
rest moral of the story.
Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you.
Somewhere tonight, perhaps another child is telling their parents about the kid in their class with the polka-dotted face.
Yes, sadly this is true. My son has a case of the chicken pox.
*sigh*

Hey, yes I am still here, reading in the background lol.
Aww poor kid...the neighbor kids here had them a couple weeks ago. I can't believe how many kids are getting them, especially kids that have had the vaccine!
I hope he doesn't itch himself too raw!
Have your other kids have chicken pox before? Did he have the vaccine? I hope it doesn't travel all through Leslie! ICK! I hope he feels better soon!
Ditto! I'm curious to hear if he had the vaccine? And, if so, did he get a booster at age 10???
I wanna know if this vaccine is really worth the trouble. I've heard of soooooo many kids getting ch pox after getting poked!
