Did you feel that?

No? Really? You didn't feel the sudden shaking of the Earth beneath your feet? Well, you should have! That is, if you were anywhere near my house today.

After unsuccessfully trying to face plant on the walk way coming to the front porch, I decided to successfully face plant on the livingroom floor. That is, if you count it being my fault that I had my arms full of clean laundry as I walked to the couch when suddenly the 115 pound horse dog decided to jump up sending my entire body to the floor, face first!

Did I mention how sore I am? Or that I've already taken a muscle relaxer and am now waiting for the bathtub to fill with water? Or that I have a sprained wrist, a swollen and bruised knee and my back is having fits all on it's own? Well, if I failed to mention any of that, just let it be known that all of the above is true! And painful.

Enough of my complaining though. All of that isn't even comparable to what my friend Ashley and her family are going through. If you could, please stop on over to her blog and send your thoughts and prayers to her family. They would greatly appreciate them.

And on a positive note, stop on over to LaDonna's blog and wish her continued success on the pregnancy. She is an amazing woman with an amazing family. The gift she is able to give others is simply undescribable. Don't forget to wish the IP's luck too.

Tonight in my EMT class, I was able to successfully insert a combitube into a dummy victim. We've been doing all types of airways and this was the night to do combitubes (similar to an ET tube that paramedics insert). I was pretty happy with my success. Now if only I'm that successful on my practical exams.

I'm off to soak in a hot tub before going to bed. I wish you all well. And watch your step!! You never know when a dog will try to step in your path. *sigh*

Goodnight,
Becky

Tomorrow, I'll share photos of Mr. Hotrod (JR) jumping his bike off a ramp just like big brother. Boys will be boys!!
