I can't believe it's Sunday already! Things here have gone well this weekend. Saturday was filled with the services, two football games and concluded by spending the evening around the fire with great friends. We had a good evening which helped us unwind after a rough day.
I'll share with you the first family photo we've ever had taken of all seven of us. This was taken by a friend before the funeral.

I couldn't think of a better day to have laid someone to rest. The weather was warm and sunny. The winds were calm. The only unfortunate events, besides the fact that we lost a loved one, was that the mosquitos were
very hungry in the cemetary. Well, and the fact that the neighbor was
giving grandma a 21 gun salute having target practice next door. We concluded the graveside service by releasing a white dove. I've never seen this done before. It was a beautiful ending to honor a life on this side of Heaven ending and Grandma's life in Heaven beginning.

I'm glad you had an enjoyable day celebrating your gramdmother's life. That photo would be a great holiday card. As always, you continue to prove that you should be in photography. Great pics, Bec! Hope to catch up soon.
Oh, (catching up here, sorry I'm late!) I'm very sorry for your loss - but it sounds like you celebrated her life in a very lovely way. AND, that photo is fantastic! Definitely should use it for your holiday cards. Wow...everyone looks perfect. Even a half a smile on Tim's face :-)
