Both are doing exceptionally well and excelling in all of their studies. Both were considered to be above grade level in several areas. It does a parents heart
I also had the pleasure of visiting with Amy. It sure was nice to chat for a few minutes with another adult for a change. I'm sure she has those days every now and then too, especially since she has twenty two little ones running circles around her on a daily basis. Bless your heart, Amy!
I also stopped in to the Book Sale that they were having during conferences. I believe they were all old library books that they were selling for 25¢ each, 5/$1 or $5 a box. I walked out with five very thick, heavy wonderful books for the kids. They were Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes books and Bedtime Stories books. If you've seen our book shelves then you know how difficult it was for me to walk out with only five. I may just go back in on Thursday to see what they have left. We can always use books for the kids here!
Dinner is just about finished and I can't wait to sink my teeth into it. It smells heavenly. The kids keep asking about it too. I know it's kind of late for dinner (or supper as some call it) but I didn't start it in time for an early dinner. Oh well. We will eat, read stories, brush teeth and hop into bed. Or at least....the kids will.
I hope you have a fantastic evening and a wonderful week. Until next time...
Becky

It was nice to talk to you too. It is good to see you IRL so it doesn't just feel like we are internet friends. This is a small enough town that we should run into each other sometimes. ;) I am glad conferences went well, like there was any doubt!
